When we deny ourselves permission to feel angry, we deny ourselves the ability to defend ourselves.

Anger is a gift, a signal, a necessary emotion.

If you struggle to let yourself feel and admit anger, please know that….

It is necessary to allow anger to shape and mold you, to show you the boundary lines to best protect yourself, protect your heart, and defend your soul.

I encourage you to give yourself permission,
To feel angry,

If not for yourself,
Then perhaps for
your daughter
your sister,
your mother,
grandmother,
aunt,
cousin,
Soul sister,
friend,
Even the woman struggling
Who you haven’t yet met.

Modeling the behavior gives others permission and courage to do the same.

Always remember this…
You are not too emotional,
You are not crazy,
and you are not a bitch
for feeling your feelings
For giving yourself permission
To be angry

It is okay to stand up for yourself, defend yourself in a broken and unfair world.

Let the storm run through you
Trust your gut
Stop pleasing others
Detach with anger
Detach with love
Then speak the truth

It’s okay to say no,
It’s okay to walk away,
And it’s also okay
To stand your sacred ground

So please don’t shrink down
Because…

You are not too much
Overly emotional
Hypersensitive
Crazy
Or a bitch

The truth is…
You are a badass woman
for having the courage to
feel and express anger,

for setting a boundary, possibly even walking away,

for stepping into your feminine power
asserting yourself
requesting others also
respect and acknowledge
your inherent divine worth.

Are you a victim of abuse, suffering from trauma, and/or relationship loss? Do you also struggle with chronic health issues?

The truth is…
we teach others how to love us, respect us…
And that begins with how we love and respect ourselves
And that includes giving ourselves permission to feel and express anger.

You don’t deserve to suffer, and you have every right to feel your anger and speak your truth.
